National Financial Literacy Challenge
High school students across the nation are gearing up to compete in the National Financial Literacy Challenge this fall to earn scholarships and other awards. Administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Challenge is a 35-question voluntary online test that covers a broad range of personal finance topics.

 Smarthinking.com is Here! - A new, free online tutoring service is now available to Washoe County School District students from 7th through 12th grade. SMARTHINKING.com is a unique, online learning program that offers free tutoring in math, science and language arts with a specially trained professional. It can be utilized by all students, ranging from those who are credit deficient to those who are academically talented, and including second language learners.
SMARTHINKING is available to Washoe County School District 7th through 12th grade students and their parents at www.smarthinking.com. For information on how to log-on, contact the administration office at your school.
