Parent Involvement Council
The Parent Involvement Council is charged with overseeing the district's total parent involvement efforts. The Council makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees about best practices that should be implemented to support the Board Policy on parent involvement and the district's Parent Involvement Initiative Strategic Plan. It coordinates the various efforts underway to improve student achievement through the active involvement of parents in the education of their children. The committee meets monthly during the school year. The meetings are open to the public and agendas are posted on the web site under Meetings, Agendas and Highlights.
