Skills USA Honors Local Teachers, Students
Congratulations to all of the SkillsUSA winners in WCSD. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives, working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. It helps each student excel.
"I want to congratulate all the medal winners at the SkillsUSA competition and wish the Gold Medal winners good luck as you continue forward with the competition in Kansas City. Washoe County School District is proud of your accomplishments," said Paul Dugan, WCSD Superintendent.
SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. It was formerly known as VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).
