To advocate for a seamless educational system that helps
all students successfully achieve their career and life
goals.
The board of directors takes an active role in providing
support and input to promote high academic standards
K-16, parent involvement, professional development,
and professional standards for teachers and counselors
on a local, state, and national level.
Through an Advocacy committee the Education Collaborative
responds to requests for input and in providing support
and testimony on selected education issues.

Data Profile
The Data Profile is the collection and presentation
of data about Washoe County School District high
school students and their matriculation into college,
with special emphasis on the graduates who attend the University
of Nevada, Reno and Truckee Meadows Community College.

Curriculum
The Gateway Curriculum is a series of
recommended high school courses in which WCSD high school
students would automatically enroll.
